Two Way Hummus recipes


Here’s two ideas for you to up your hummus game:



1 can chickpeas
1 beetroot (pre-cooked)
1 clove garlic (grated)
1 lemon (rind & juice)
1/3 cup tahini (we use Ethiopian Tahini by Shirley Bar)
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

Curried Butternut Squash:

1 cup butternut squash cubes (roasted)
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup tahini
1/2 tbsp cumin
1/2 tbsp chilli flakes
1 tsp turmeric
1 can chickpeas
small handful cilantro (coriander)
salt to taste
(pop some garlic in too if you like!)


1 Put all the ingredients in a food processor & whizz them up into a smooth paste
2 Serve with crisps or breadsticks or celery or carrot sticks or pitta bread soldiers or your FINGER! (You get the picture…)
