Classic Homemade Hummus (Oil Free)


1 can Chickpeas (rinsed and drained)

1/2 cup Water

2 heaping tbsp. Ethiopian Tahini

1 Whole Lemon (juiced)

2 Garlic cloves

1 tsp Cumin

1 tsp Paprika

1/2 tsp Chili powder

1 tsp Sea salt

1/4 tsp Black pepper



  1. Rinse and drain canned chickpeas
  2. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender
  3. Blend until smooth
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings
  5. Chop up any veggies you have and serve
